Second Sundays back on 13th August

Our monthly market will be back open on Andover High Street Sunday 13th August.

Between 10am to 3pm you can come along to shop with local independent traders. There will be some delicious street food on offer, as well as sweet treats.

There will be two workshops to enjoy this month, including a decoupage station and the chance to make braided bracelets. Both are free of charge and all ages can drop in at any time throughout the day.

In addition to the craft workshops, there will be an opportunity to contribute pictures and ideas, as part of the engagement programme to support Test Valley’s latest public art project.

Local sculptor and portrait artist, Amy Goodman, was commissioned to create two life-size sculptures of Queen Elizabeth II as part of the Platinum Jubilee commemorations. On the statues’ cloaks, Amy plans to inscribe pictures telling the story of some of the events that took place during Queen Elizabeth’s reign. So come along with ideas for designs to go onto the cloak and get involved by drawing and painting some pictures with Amy.
