Film, food and fun in store at April’s event

Second Sundays will be back open on Andover High Street on Sunday 14 April, 10am to 3pm.

Look forward to seeing some familiar faces selling handmade jewellery, locally made mead, home accessories and stationary.

We’ll also be welcoming some lovely new traders this month selling locally made produce, fragrant gin and gourmet marshmallows.

To keep you feeling refreshed you can buy hot drinks from the Coffee Nut stall and a selection of drinks from the Andover Tap mobile horse box bar.

This month’s market will be making a nod to film and we’re excited to welcome Wessex Film Archives who will be talking about their community project, Andover: An Overspill Story. Andover doesn't have much of a recent archival footprint, particularly from those living in newer estates and the originally-called ‘London overspill’ estates. This project aims to source photos, videos and sound recordings to add to the archive, so that individuals can start to see themselves represented.

This month’s creative workshop will also be centred around film offering all visitors the chance to get involved with a zoetrope workshop and make animation flip books.

Our DJ will be filling the High St with music throughout the day and here’s a list of what you can look forward to:
